Avocado Arts + Christmas Joy EXPLOSION!

Hey there friends! Here to share with you another fun idea using Avocado Arts' Very Merry Season set! This set has so many FUN images to play with, and the beauty Avocado Arts' stamps is that they combine perfectly with older sets, like you'll see in today's project.

I stamped a christmas gift with the Bold Celebrations set. To make it appear like the Christmas gift was exploding with holiday joy, I stamped a line using a flower stamp from Springtime Celebrations set. I then stamped the bell, bow, string of lights, stocking and sentiment using the Very Merry Season set. I also added the candy cane and ornaments from Bring on the Holiday Cheer

For a pop of fun I added a patterned paper strip, veneer snowflakes and a red twine bow with a sticker sentiment!

Well, that's it for me today! Make sure to visit the rest of today's crew to see the fabulousness that they've come up with!

SEI - Thankful Friends Note Set

Hey there!! Happy to be designing with SEI's fabulous papers and embellies for another term! SEI has a truly talented staff od designers, incredibly amazing collections and great quality! It's so fun to be inspired by their goodies. Today's project is perfect for how I feel--thankful to be working with the great company, helping them be successful. So, on that note, today's project is a Thankful for You Friend Note Set using SEI's new Entrada line.

November is a great month to remember all the things in our life that were thankful for! you can be thankful for your family, your health, your family, finances, friends-whatever you have in your life--you can be thankful for it. I think that friends are one of many things I am grateful for. Today's friendship set is great because it comes with a greeting card, three embellished cards where you can write something special to your friend, and a decorated box to put the cards and a gift in! I was inspired to use the Entrada line because I was drawn to the playful use of green and chartreuse throughout the collection, plus the beautiful foils and prints available in the 6" x 6" paper pad.

The box (from the dollar bin at Target) was super easy to embellish. I traced the shape of each side on the back of Pantanal Grassland, trimmed and adhered it to the box. Then I tied some fun orange twine around the box, looping it onto a chipboard frame from the Entrada Frames set on both sides. I then trimmed a square from Albertine Rift, affixed some alpha stickers to it and adhered to the box, with a little overlapping the frame. I then trimmed some fabulous foiled and motif papers from the Entrada 6" x 6" paper pad and tucked them underneath the frame. To finish it off, I affixed a bracket and heart canvas sticker with a pin sticking through it to the box. Now it's all set to hold the cards and a gift!

These were super easy to make. I was inspired by the Natural Habitats die cut accents, which have the nicest, encouraging sentiments. Just trim patterned paper strips as shown, add your fibers and adhere perforated sentiments to the box, making sure to leave room for a sweet note to your friend before tucking them into the box.

Enclosing a card always  seems to make a set feel complete. What I like best about the Entrada collection is the variety of motif patterned paper and pretty animal prints! I wanted to use them, and this card shows how to do the effectively! If your going to use a lot of different patterned papers or  choose a clean and simple style, so that the design isn't too overwhelming. For this card, I trimmed the patterned paper into squares, rounded the corners and then adhered to the card around a stamped everyday-appropriate sentiment. Super easy execution--very effective design.

Well, I hope this project has inspired you to create your own friendship box set or another fabulous project with the Entrada line

Avocado Arts + Wintery Gift Boxes

Hey there friends! Today the whole Pit Crew from Avocado Arts will be sharing projects with you! It's a sneak peak day, so we use stamps from the current month's set, which is Very Merry Season, and mix it with a sneak from next month's set, which you're going to love!
Today's project are wintery stamped gift boxes that you can used for gift giving this year!
The boxes were super easy to make. I die cut them using my Silhouette and stamped on them while they were flat.

I love the Christmas tree from Very Merry Season, so I stamped it repeatedly on the box die cut. I then snuck in some snowflakes from next month's set, and mixed in some snowflakes from Brrr! And the Nerdy Snow Peeps set.

I added some sequins to the trees to give them some sparkle, mixing in other little fun trims like tinsel, pearls and a chipboard snowflake.

This box was also made with a cut file and a sneaky little penguin peaking at you! I mixed  in the snowman from Brrr! And the Nerdy Snow Peeps, dressed him up and added a dusting of tinsel glitter to make them look wintery!

So, as mentioned on the Avocado Arts facebook page, were having a giveaway of three adorable little mini sets! Make sure to leave a comment on each Pit Crew blog for a chance to win! Winners will be picked randomly on and announced on the blog and facebook page. Here's what you could win!
