A Pretty Card with SEI

I love making cards and creating a collage look with them, layering paper and a variety of embellishments together in fun ways. For this card, I turned to the beautiful Mia Bella collection for inspiration.
I trimmed strips of patterned paper from the Mia Bella assortment, and notched the ends to create a frame. I then added some lace cream trim to the bottom of the card front to soften the look of the card.
Then, I fussy cut flowers from Sidewalk Cafe, added a canvas sticker to a banner sticker and embellished with some notions. Finish your card up with a pretty bow and stamped sentiment, and you've got a beautiful card perfect to give to a friend to let them know that you're thinking of them!

Nursery Decor with SEI

I like mixing patterned paper collections, so I went through my stash of SEI goodness and pulled out two collections that are perfect for my project today, nursery decor for a new baby! Whether you want to add a fun touch your little one's nursery or a friends, this vintage chic baby banner is the perfect project!
I combined Mia Bella paper and embellishments with paper and embellishments from an older collection, Promise Me.
I die cut banner and pennant pieces with my Silhouette machine, and dolled them up with starburst punched patterned paper, ribbon and time and glittered letter stickers. Attach the banner to a vintage hanger, and you've got the cutest little gift to give to an expecting mom!
