Hello there! Another late night post. Today, I worked on my designs for Memories Live On. I'll show you a layout for your scrapbooks, and a design for card makers. Etsy Inspired Challenge #85-Bee Things

Etsy has a fabulous design challenge right now. The deal is that you go to visit Bee Things, a silk-screen designer on Etsy.com and you a designer to inspire your design.

Well, when I went to the storefront several design elements popped out at me. The use of kraft and bright colors, clean lines and simple designs. I was ecstatic!! So, here is my submission for this great contest! I am a color queen, so I had to add a bit more color in areas for emphasis.

So, owl's are totally in right now! They're fun, simple and can add a little playfulness to any card. I found a precious set by Hot Fudge studio, and a dear friend's birthday was today, so this was my first time using the stamp set. I can't wait to use it more!

Basic Grey Challenge-Week 18: Colour Combo 5

Hello there! Today I was able to come home from a long and depressing staff meeting to my craft room to create. After some dismal weather, I was happy to see Basic Grey's Colour Challenge. I really love the collections of Basic Grey! They have whimsical papers, excellent accessories such as dimensional stickers, rub-ons and ribbons.

This week's challenge was to use three colors; blue, gold and white. So, I went through all my paper and found some delightful patterns from My Mind's Eye. So, here's my card. Hope you enjoy!

This week's featured design is new product from Websters Pages that you can find at Memories Live On or www.scrapbookingsuppliesrus.com. The colors are beautiful, and very soft. I fussy-cut some of the paper to create a more dramatic effect, and only focused on picture in this layout. But, I believe my favorite part of this design are the beautiful doily rub-ons from Hambly Screen Prints.
