Etsy Inspired #110--10.16.10

Happy Saturday everyone! I am in Texas this weekend for my DH's college roommates wedding. Were so happy for the new Mr and Mrs Brodie Heflin!! Plus, it gives my DH and I a chance to spend time with his family and check out the famous Texas State fair where I have been told to try fried chocolate....hmmm. I am told that these famous fried concoctions are incredible, but last year's main dish was fried butter so I am a little concerned.

But, anways--this week's shop and sponsor is none other that our own Etsy Inspire Design team member,  KERRY's shop Capturing Creativity . Her shop is your one stop shop for all things paper crafting oriented! Not only can you buy her beautiful handmade cards but you can find great products from paper and cardstock to card-making kits and clear stamps. You're sure to find the PERFECT embellishment or accessory for your paper crafting needs. Here's a sampling of some goodies that you'll find in her shop.

I love her colors, fun patterns and lovely products. So, this week I was inspired by her adorable handmade raffle tickets! They're so cute and can be used in a variety of ways including borders, layered as an embellie or even as a sentiment

Here's how I used the raffle ticket from her shop. The raffle tickets in my card come
Pink Paislee's new line, "Sweetness." I have been waiting
for this paper ever since it debuted at CHA, and I finally got my hands on it two weeks ago.
I bought the paper crafter's kit which came with all the paper from the collection
as well as embellie stickers and alphabet stickers
only found in the kit!

I layered the raffle ticket stickers using foam tape on
a transparency card that is part of the collection

A close-up detail of the metallic heart on the
transparency card and some luscious layered ribbon.
I couldn't resist adding the baker's twine either.

So, that's what I came up with and now it's your turn because if you are one of the two winner's this week you could win one the following two prize packages

My Favorite Things Creativity Kit

Tinkering Ink Stamp set and Chunky Accordion Album

So, now it's your turn to play. Visit our shop for the week and choose an item to base your creation on. Make sure to post your design to Etsy Inspired Challenge Blog by Friday, October 22nd at noon! One lucky person will win the fabulous My Favorite Things Creativity kit or the Timkering Ink stamps and Chunky Accordian album!

  9. Hey, I can't see any new posts on this site, should I refresh my browser's cache? Anyone else experiencing this?
I mean, how hard can it be to just be spontaneous. It is. And sometimes you just can't post random shit like this.
I'm just wondering, is it possible to take up blogging without any technical experience? Can I blog from MS Word?
I'm a little slow, please don't remove my comments or I will get upset.
