Glitter Embossing Your Cards with Stamps

Welcome to the first day of this month's series The Stationery Show . I am so excited to share with you some amazingly creative and fabulous ideas for incorporating stationery motifs into your paper crafting. This series will last all month, so make sure to stop by and be inspired.

Today's project is a fun stamping tutorial that you can make yourself featuring Avocado Arts' newest release,  Special Delivery. This set perfectly tied into The Stationery Show  because it includes little postage marks, a postage stamp and envelopes.
When you mix the glitter with embossing powder and heat set both, you'll get this fabulously stamped and sparkly image! By picking a simple image that's not too detailed like the envelope, you'll get the best quality glittery embossed image so that will make your project sparkle!

|1|  Gather your supplies. Because, this month's them is stationery, I am using Special Delivery. I also chose watermark ink, and clear embossing powder along with a fine glitter.

|2|  Add equal parts of glitter and embossing powder in a small bowl.

|3|  Mix the glitter and embossing powder thoroughly.

|4|  Stamp the envelopes with watermark ink. Immediately add glitter and embossing powder mix, and heat set.

|5|  Brush off excess glitter with a q-tip.

So, what do you think? Are you a sparkle fan? I know I am--I like adding glitter to anything that I can! Make sure to check out the rest of the Pit Crew's pretty projects.
